I’ve just uploaded a new version of my little helper app for editing Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol S series template files.
This little app is primarily intended to make modify an existing template a little easier:
- Add or change the image file for a template.
- Crate/change template names with (optionally) special characters not found in the onboard editor
- Create/change the labels for knobs and buttons
- Change the button LED colors
- Change the display mode for Knobs
- Copy selected sections from another template file (.kmt) into the template file being edited. This can be handy for cases where you like some settings from a template made by someone else, but you want your own pedal settings, keyboard splits, etc.
This app is not intended to replace the very nice onboard editor. It only aims to augment it a little bit.
You can download a .zip file with the app to run it locally. Hopefully it should work in any modern mainstream browser.
